What’s Your Mission Statement?

We’re all here for a reason. What are you here for? What’s your work? What’s your passion?

I know that I’m here to encourage and inspire others. But that’s not a full mission statement. I wrote a clear and precise mission statement because my life is growing busier and busier. A mission statement helps you make decisions in life. Which choice is in alignment with your mission statement? A mission statement shows you where your time and your energies are best spent. When you begin the day and you look at your growing to do list, you can prioritize those tasks and projects according to what is urgent and important, and then prioritize according to your mission statement.

My mission statement is: to live free and inspire and encourage others to natural healing, enlightenment, and authentic living.

I encourage you to write one for your own life. If you don’t know why you’re here, do some deep soul searching. Spend quiet time with yourself with your eyes closed and ask your higher self some questions. What makes you tick? What’s the change you want to see in the world? What do you love to do, what are you good at, and how does that help people? Is your role to teach, to support, to lead, to heal, to bring joy, to create? And don’t leave yourself out! What’s important to you in your own personal life? What must you do for yourself?

Refer to your mission statement often. Revisit it and revise it as you grow and change. Know what you’re here for. Write one for your family, for your business, for your projects. Share yours in the comments!
